I decided to make this feeding trough as it became cold outside and we had to feed the birds with something.
Here are the materials you need:
1. 2 five-liter plastic bottles
2. 4 long self-tapping screws and 4 medium-long self-tapping screws (you can choose for yourself)
3. bar (length 150 cm, width and thickness of 15 mm)
4. Board (length of your choice, and a width of 5 cm, and a thickness)
Here are some tools you need:
1. Screwdriver
2. Hogging
3. Knife
4. A ruler with a simple pencil
5. Scissors
1.Step. We’ll deal with the bottles first. Cut off the handles on both bottles.
2.Step. After we cut off the handles, we begin to cut holes in which the birds will fly.
3.Step. Well that's all with the bottles. Now go to the bottle holder. We take the board and put it between the bottles. Then we take the bar and place it horizontally in the bottles and cross out with a pencil the place where the bottles end.
4.Step. We saw on this marking and then we also need to cut 2 exactly the same bars of the same length.
5.Step. We fasten one bar to the top, and the last two we fasten to the sides to the place where the bottom of the bottles ends.
6.Step. Now we fasten the corks and bottles to these bars. as shown in the photo.
That's all the feeder is ready to use. This feeder can be attached to a fence, for example, or simply stuck in a snowdrift if you have taken a long board.
