Good afternoon! I want to introduce my homemade functional, simple and superthin case for the tablet from the stationery plastic folder.
This is how it looks:
To make such a cover you will need the following tools:
-industrial dryer
ruler, pencil
-conventional soldering iron
-gun knife
-Two tins
Well, the folder! It can be any color, suitable size and preferably thicker and more elastic.
I had this folder:
Next, we outline the tablet on the folder:
Then cut with a knife to the desired size and get this beauty:
Next, we need to make holders. I made the holders from the rest of the folder and using forms made of tins:
After making the molds, put the cut-out plate on the mold and heat it with a hairdryer until the plastic softens and shines completely, then lower the press and hold the mold in the mold until it cools completely. We get the following result:
Then we need to cut out the holders of the required shape and size, and place them on the folder so that they hold the tablet, but at the same time do not block the functionality of the ends of the tablet: speakers, sound control, etc.
Next, heat up the soldering iron and solder the holders with the folder.
Initially, I had several options for attaching the holders to the folder: metal rivets, plastic rivets, glue ... but the most effective way of attaching was soldering.
You can evaluate the result, as well as refine it with your ideas.
