Camera mount for video recording

Hello to all lovers homemade. Sometimes it becomes necessary to make a video about the homemade assembly process, but there is only a camera on hand without a tripod, what should I do in this situation? Right, make a tripod do it yourself, which will be no worse than the factory in functionality, and the appearance can be given depending on the requirements, in any case, it will perform its functions one hundred percent.

Before reading the step-by-step assembly instructions for a home-made tripod, I suggest watching a video with an overview of the finished product in order to assess the completeness of the picture.

In order to make a homemade tripod for shooting video, you will need:
* 8 mm plywood sheet
* Six bolts with wing nuts
* Self-tapping screws with press washers
* Electric fret saw
* Sandpaper
* Camera to check
* Electric drill and drill with a diameter of 6 mm

That's all that is necessary in order to start making this homemade tripod.

Step one.
The first thing you need to decide on the material, since the design is designed to hold the camera, whether it be a compact camera or an action video camera, then the rigidity of the material should be sufficient. Typically, the weight of such cameras does not exceed 250 grams, so in this case it will be appropriate to use plywood with a thickness of 8 mm, which more than withstand the equipment and heavier. We cut out three levers from a plywood sheet using an electric jigsaw. The leverage length can be selected depending on the requirements and, if necessary, add a few more, in my case there are three. After the three levers are ready, they need to be sanded with sandpaper, this is done in order to exclude cases of splinter in the hand.

Step Two
We connect the polished levers of plywood together using bolts and thumbs; before that, we drill a hole in the attachment points with a 6 mm drill installed in an electric drill. This method is very convenient, since by loosening the wing nut you can adjust the position of the levers, thereby changing the shooting angle.

Step Three
For levers it is also necessary to make a sole, which will be attached in my case to the wall, but if necessary, you can fix the sole even on the ceiling, table or floor. We fasten two rounded pieces to the sole made of the same 8 mm plywood, which are pre-drilled in the middle with a 6 mm drill for a bolt. Between these rounded segments we install a wooden block with a hole of 6 mm, a bolt is inserted into it and clamped on one side with a thumb screw.On top of this bar we fasten one of the levers onto three self-tapping screws with a press washer, the remaining levers are also fastened with the wing nut.

Step Four
The movable part with the camera consists of three pieces of plywood, which are also interconnected by bolts with a wing nut, it will be easiest to understand how this is done from the photographs below.

This design allows you to rotate the camera all 360 degrees, which gives good opportunities for shooting and does not require rebuilding the entire tripod when changing the angle. The camera itself is mounted on an M6 bolt, which is screwed into the standard screw hole of the camera.

That's all for me, this homemade product can be considered ready and able to help when shooting various regular homemade devices, machines and other things.

I want to say thank you for your attention, and I wish everyone success to one degree or another with homemade products.
