Plastic bottle mouse trap

If you are tired of the presence of mice in your house or workshop, but you cannot get rid of them, then I advise you to try to make a simple but effective trap. It works without failures, all materials are available and it is suitable for those people who are humane to rodents, since after the operation of the mousetrap, the mouse remains unharmed.

What you need to make a mousetrap

  1. 1.5 liter plastic bottle
  2. Long anchor bolt
  3. Large and small wooden block
  4. Auxiliary tool

Making a mousetrap

First you need to hold a large block in a vice and drill a hole closer to the edge, it should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the bolt.

Then you need to take the bottle and find its center, for this put the bottle on your finger and by moving find the center.

Now with the help of a drill and a screwdriver we make two holes in the center of the bottle as in the photo below. The hole can be burnt with a soldering iron or a heated bolt, which is more convenient. The hole in the bottle should match the diameter of the bolt.

Next, thread the bolt through the hole.

And we twist it together with the bottle into a previously made hole on the bar. Twist until the cap of the bolt touches the bottle. The bolt should be twisted with effort and not loose, and the bottle should be free to tilt and rise.

Now we take a small bar, spread one of its surfaces with hot glue and glue it as shown in the photo below. It is necessary to glue with a small angle, so that the neck does not sink to the end, but to the middle, thereby closing the passage, should rise to the top freely.

The mousetrap is ready. It remains only to put a piece of bread in it ..

Set in the right place and wait!

After the mouse enters the bottle, it lowers the neck under its own weight, thereby closing the exit, if it crawls to the bottom of the bottle, the trap will open, but as soon as it climbs back, the attractive force will work again and the passage will close!

That's all, an effective mouse trap is ready to use! Thank you all for your attention!

What for? Water there, she will drown
Are you asking this seriously?
So much e @ li ...
Take the usual can of seven hundred cucumber-tomatoes with a screw cap. Make a hole from the edge of the lid to fit the mouse. Put the bait in a jar (chocolate is better), and place the jar obliquely, under 30-35 °, so that it does not slide. All! The mouse will fit, but it will not be able to crawl out. And jumping aiming into the hole also does not work. Got gray - some water to her☺☺☺
Excuse me, what’s stopping her from gnawing at a piece of wood?
And why, install the generator, let the current generate, feed it
how to get it later ?????
