First, let's figure out what a wok is. A wok is a Chinese pan with a round conical bottom. Wok, owes its appearance to the Chinese peasants. The main available material for cooking, the peasants had straw. But its main drawback, it quickly burns out. The solution was found in the use of a conical frying pan with high walls. Thanks to this form, the food was in the very center of the pan, where all the heat was concentrated.
The main technique for cooking in a wok is quick roasting with frequent stirring (stir-fry). With such rapid heat treatment, the products retain freshness, aroma and a significant part of their beneficial properties. Fast frying in a wok with constant stirring and tossing allows you to give the dishes a special “pan taste” (wok hei).

To cook food in a wok, you need a lot of temperature. The master decided to make a special plate for these purposes.

Step One: The Table
From a metal corner welds a frame. A metal sheet is welded on top of the frame.
Step Two: Ring
The next step, the master makes a ring for installing a wok. From metal cuts strip. Compresses it around the pipe and welds it to the table. There is a gap in the ring for ventilation. Also around the circumference of the ring drills holes. Cuts the inside of the table.
Step Three: Burner
The master made the burner from a half-inch pipe section. On both sides of the pipe is threaded. One side was drowned out by a master with a bolt wound with an FUM tape. On the other hand, mounted a fitting for a gas hose. Bottom corners with holes are welded to the pipe. A three-inch pipe is welded on top. Before welding it, a 1.3 mm hole is drilled in a half-inch pipe.
Subsequently, the master closed the pipe from below with foil, and reduced the access of air to the chamber.
I installed a gearbox on the cylinder and checked the burner.
Step Four: Ignition Device
To facilitate the ignition of gas, the master installed a special device. The device is powered by batteries. The arrester installed in the pipe. I used a hairpin as the second electrode. The power button is fixed on the side surface.
Step Five: Burner Installation
Before fixing the burner, the master found the optimum installation height. Welded to the legs frame. I screwed the burner.
Step six: wheels and panels
For the possibility of moving the plate sets the cart wheels. The sides of the plate are covered with metal panels. For access to the burner, the panels are removable.
Seventh step: side table
For convenience, a side table makes a folding table. The table is made of boards. Mounted on the side wall with hinges. At the bottom of the table a thrust rail is screwed. The emphasis is made of a rod. The lower part of the stop is installed in the holes in the profile pipe.
Seventh step: protective screen
Sheets are made of sheet metal. The screen consists of three parts. The parts are connected with the help of piano loops. The corners of the screen are rounded. Slots are made at the bottom of the screen. A strip is welded at the top of the plate. The strip is welded only to the edges. The screen is installed in the groove between the body and the strip.
Step Eight: Small Details
The master regulates the gas flow using a tap, so he installs it in an easily accessible place. The pipeline is fixed to the bracket. The hose is fixed with a hose clamp. Seals gas connections with FUM tape. The plate is covered with heat-resistant paint.
