Assembly mitral electric saw.
1- Well, let's not waste time and let's break to the assembly. First you need to choose an electric motor because the power of homemade directly depends on it. Ideally, using a 775 class motor with bearings will simply be plenty for this purpose. But we took the electric motor weaker and cheaper, but with a set of drills and a cartridge for them.
2- After we figured out the choice of the electric motor, we will take up the assembly itself.First you need a sheet of plywood or a simple board with a length of 28 centimeters and a width of 20 centimeters.
3- You will also need a wooden blank with a shape and size similar to that wooden blank, which is shown in the photo below.
4- And now the two above said blanks should be interconnected.
5- First, apply glue for wood to one of the blanks.
6- And glue two blanks as shown in the photo below. And wait until the glue has completely dried.
7- After which the junction of the two blanks should be strengthened. And we will strengthen with the help of screws on
tree, just twisting them in the specified places (see photo below).
8- Then you should make a wooden blank similar to the one shown in the photo below. It should also be remembered that the taken electric motor should be placed and tightly seated in the recess in the middle.
9- Next, on a just made wooden blank, you need to fix the electric motor. We will mount it with an aluminum plate. But if you don’t have one, then you can use, as we do, an aluminum ventilation grill.
10- Namely, the lower flat part of the ventilation grill will be needed.
11- Cut out the flat bottom from the ventilation grill. It should be cut with scissors for metal.
12- Approximately such an aluminum plate should work out for you.
13- We bend this aluminum plate according to the shape and size of the electric motor you have taken.
14- After which, using self-tapping screws and a screwdriver, we must fix the aluminum plate to the wooden workpiece so that the electric motor fits tightly in place and does not vibrate.
15- Then you need to make a movable mechanism so that the cutting disc can move along a vertical plane.
16- And we will do this with a furniture loop.
17- We fasten the furniture hinge in a horizontal position, first to the counter.
18- And then we apply a wooden blank with an electric motor to the furniture hinge.
19- And also connect the workpiece using self-tapping screws.
20- After which, using hooks and a pair of springs, we make a similar design as in the photo below. It is necessary
for more convenient operation of the saw.
21- Next, you need a pizza knife. It is needed in order to make a cutting wheel out of it, of course, you could use a ready-made cutting wheel, but we are not looking for easy ways.
22- We disassemble the pizza knife and only a cutting disk is useful.
23- Using a marker, leave marks on the discs (see photo below). The distance between the divisions should be approximately the same.
24- Next to do the marks, as it is shown in the photo below.
25- Using scissors for metal, we cut out the teeth on the disk along the office.
26- You should get about the same drive as the drive shown in the photo below.
27- We fix the cutting disc on the screw and nut.
28- Then we insert the cutting disc into the motor chuck and tighten the chuck.
29- But before fixing the disc to the cartridge, make a hole in the platform so that the cutting disc does not touch it.
30- Well, in conclusion, you will need to fix the handle. It is useful for more convenient operation of the device.
31- Apply wood glue to the handle that we previously made.
32- And glue the pen in the place indicated in the photo below.
