Do-it-yourself bullet spinner

Greetings to all anglers - masters. The opening of the open water fishing season is approaching, who did not have time to prepare for it for the long winter, it's time to start. Today we’ll make a lure not difficult to manufacture, called a bullet or a bulb. Rumor has it that this bait is very catchy, well, let's do it.

Tools needed and fixtures.

1. Angle grinder.
2. A drill on a rack.
3. Industrial hair dryer.
4. Drill 2 mm.
5. Vise.
6. Pliers.
7. Scissors.
8. Sharpening machine.
9. Felt circle.
10. Sandpaper.
11. Pasta GOI.

Materials required.

1. Brass rod from the fan.
2. The union from the car camera.
3. A copper tube with a diameter of 7 - 8mm.
4. Sheet lead.
5. Sheet asbestos.
6. Red woolen threads.
7. Fishing tees.
8. Clockwork rings.

To make these lures, we need a brass or copper bar, with a diameter of 7-8 mm. A tube of the same diameter is also suitable.

If there is no rod or tube, you can use materials at hand, for example a brass rod from a plumbing fan or a fitting from a car camera.

To begin with, we clean the parts with sandpaper and polish them on a felt circle using GOI paste. It’s better to do it right away, since polishing small parts is much harder.

We clamp the workpiece in a vice and make three cuts with a grinder, 90, 30-35 and 90 degrees.

We get two billets for baubles, one a little less, the second more.

We clean the barbs, polish the slices and drill holes for the clockwork rings.

There is a bit more work with the pipe, since it needs to be filled with lead.

After cutting the fitting from the camera, it turned out that it was made of a very thick-walled tube.

It was decided to leave this tube as is, and to fill in a thinner-walled copper tube with lead.

We cut off about 5-7 cm from a copper tube.

We hammer one end with wet asbestos.

Asbestos is always well-dried with an industrial hairdryer.

Cut the lead into small pieces and tightly fill the tube.

We heat the tube with a hairdryer, when melting, lead should be periodically added a little bit.To avoid heat loss, the tube from the vise can be isolated with the same asbestos.

We also cut off the workpieces, clean the burrs, polish the slices and drill holes for the winding rings.

Now you need to prepare the tees. We take a red woolen thread and cut two pieces of 5cm from it.
We thread the segments into the eye of the tee and tie it with an ordinary thread. Fluffy tails of woolen threads with a needle.

We attach tees to spinners with the help of clockwork rings.
It turned out six spinners, of different sizes and weights. From a brass bar, 9g and 7.5g, from a brass tube 6.5g and 4g, a copper tube filled with lead 8.5g and 7g.

It remains to wait for the opening of the summer season and try our crafts in business. I wonder which of the spinners will be the most catchy, because their weight, sections and appearance are different, therefore, the game in the water should be different.

No tail, no scales, see you on fishing !!!

On a winding ring a carbine and to his leash.
Why bind?
I tried this on our lake. Not caught anything. Our fish loves: "Terminator", wobblers. He doesn’t even want a turntable.
