Powerful antenna for receiving and distributing Wi-Fi signal


Good day to all. In this article we will talk about a WIFI gun capable of receiving and distributing a signal at a distance of several kilometers.

The author collected the cannon according to this scheme.

From a copper sheet 3 mm thick (any sheet metal can be used).

And studs with nuts.

The author cut out discs with a hole in the center from a sheet. The dimensions of the disks and the distance between them are indicated in the diagram.








Then he cut off the excess from the stud and installed the disks on it according to the scheme.


By adjusting the distance between the discs and fixing them with nuts.





On the last two disks, I made a couple more holes for the wire.

The gun will first be connected to the WiFi network adapter.

Then to the phone.

And at the end to a Wi-Fi router to distribute the signal.



To connect the gun to a Wi-Fi whistle, the author will carefully disassemble the antenna.








And solder the wires from the antenna to the discs of the gun.



Outer wire to the largest drive.


And the central wire to the next drive.


After strengthens the gun on the bracket.

Connects adapter and laptop.





Result.

Changes the direction of the gun.

In order for the gun to be able to catch a signal at an even greater distance, the author will install it on the roof. To do this, he will connect one end of the cable from the satellite TV to it.












The second edge of the TV wire will connect to the adapter through the Pigtail adapter.



Fixes the cannon on a stick and fixes it on the roof.


Result.



In order to connect the gun to the phone.

The author has cleaned the edge of the wire.




And twisted it that way.


And with the help of a cover he pressed it to the phone, in the place where the phone has an antenna.

To distribute the signal, connect the gun to the router.

He aimed the gun along the street.

The result is at a distance of 300 m.

At a distance of 3 km, the phone lost a signal.

And I decided to install on the roof auto another gun, so he increased the signal distance.

The result is at a distance of 5 km.


At a distance of 9 km, the signal and speed decreased significantly. But according to the author, using such a gun, you can transmit a signal to work in school or garage.

I measured the level of routers, came across and worked for 100 meters, this antenna will not give such amplification anyway. So cut the copper nickels as he shows and fasten as he does.
