But by the end of the 80s, they were almost completely supplanted in this business by gas burners! It is more convenient and more powerful, and without hassle)))). Now and even more so - in the afternoon you will not find fire ... I worked a lot with lamps, but for the first time I hear that the tank itself with gasoline is warming !!! Well, it will heat up so that it becomes warm - nothing more. In order for gas to boil and evaporate, the supply pipe passes through the nozzle ... There it boils ... But not in the tank!

In general, I remember only the story about the lamp explosion from early childhood - the bottom vomited from a man in a lamp with the corresponding consequences (they didn’t save it. It was badly burned). But there was something else - the lamp stood somewhere in the water for a long time. The bottom is rusted. And he solved this problem easily - painted!

By the way, I have redone. Instead of a booster pump, there is a tube with a spool. Air is inflated by a hand / foot automobile pump. Keeps pressure longer.
