Strip of iron
Bolt
Nuts.
Tool:
Angle grinder
Welder
Hand vice
Drill.
Let's get down to homemade.
I will drill a hole in the channel in the center.
I cut off a strip of iron in the size of the channel
I drill a hole in the center bolt.
I cut the thread with a tap.
I screw the strip to the bolt with a screw and screwed the nut for welding.
Welded a nut.
Cleaned up.
Welded the nut to the bolt.
I inserted the rod into the nut and scald the edges so that the knob would not fly out.
He painted, but then decided to weld the nut to the strip for strength, but first cut the thread on the nut.
Again, I paint all the details with spray paint.
Then he decided to make holes for the screws in the channel so that the vise could be securely fixed, I paint again.
The vise is ready.
I think such a vise is very useful in the country on the farm.
