Good day to all dear friends! In today's article, I would like to show you and describe in detail the assembly of a homemade decorative country fountain from improvised means.
This homemade absolutely everyone can repeat, as it will consist of primitive details. This fountain will decorate your country plot and create coziness in the yard. Homemade work will turn out as budgetary as possible, since the materials used will be the most improvised and primitive.
For this homemade product we need:
-Three pallets for flower pots of different diameters (they can be purchased at a flower or summer house shop).
-Section of a polypropylene pipe about 1m.
-Water pump (pump) is not large (it can be purchased at the aquarium store or in the online store).
- A couple of heavy stones.
- A pair of electrodes.
- Ornamental grass, which is also sold in the aquarium store.
Of the tools we will also need:
- Hot melt adhesive.
- Marker.
- Soldering iron.
- Level.
Well, let's not waste time and begin to collect our fountain. First, we need three pallets of flower pots, the so-called saucers. If you are a gardener lover, then you probably have a hundred of them lying around in the pantry. Well, if not, then you have to purchase them in the store. We need three pallets of different diameters, preferably the same color and the same plastic texture.
After we figured out the plastic pallets, we need a piece of polypropylene pipe with a length of about 1 meter. We should install the taken polypropylene pipe exactly in the center of the largest pallet and circle it with a marker so that the mark remains, and so do with the other two pallets.
After the centers of the plastic pallets have been marked, holes should be made in the middle and in the small pallet. We will make a hole with a soldering iron. This method of making holes in the plastic will save us from cracks in the plastic, since flower pots are made of low-quality and cheap plastic, it often cracks.
Then we should make small holes in the lower part and along the edges of the small and medium pallets. We will make holes with the same soldering iron at a distance of no more than one centimeter from each other.
For the next step, we need an aquarium pump or a so-called small-sized water pump. Such a pump can be found in an aquarium, plumbing or radio store. Well, or order in a Chinese online store. This water pump needs to be installed exactly in the center of the large sump by the mark, which was done earlier. And fix it with hot glue.
Next, the segment of the polypropylene pipe is plugged with a plug on one side. And from the side that was plugged with a plug, we make similar holes in a circle with a soldering iron, which we made in plastic pallets. The next step is to connect the pump and the polypropylene pipe using hot melt adhesive. But before that, we put the pallets in ascending order from bottom to top, you should get something like this, as it is shown in the photos below. And having adjusted the distance between their pallets, we also fix it with hot glue.
Then we weight the fountain with stones from the garden, this is necessary so that the fountain is more stable and does not fall at the slightest wind flow.
Next, we will need to set the pallets in a level so that the water flows on the pallets evenly. For this we need an electrode. Namely, we make a hole with a soldering iron with a diameter equal to the diameter of the electrode you took. We insert the electrode and level the pallets perfectly evenly. Repeat the steps in the photo below.
Then we proceed to decorating our country fountain. To do this, just take artificial grass and artificial flowers and glue them to the rim of the pallets. This is all that was enough for the author of the homemade fantasy. I would also add aquarium stones from myself so that the water passes through the stones.
Now it remains only to pour water and connect the power to the pump and enjoy the murmur of water. You
