He made a similar design to his neighbor. As a basis, an old street lamp. Cut off the excess, paste a bucket of mayonnaise into the hole. Inside the bucket we glue the wooden strips to fix the modem / router.

Everything works fine. Without this, nowhere. The antenna can be made passive if you place the antenna from the modem / smartphone inside and so on.

The antenna does not rotate directly to the tower, but slightly at an angle relative to it. Why I do not know, personal experience.
