Cardboard rubber machine gun (about 130 shots at a time)

Good day to all! Today I would like to tell you about the manufacture of one very interesting device in my opinion. A machine gun is an rubber-shot, which fires approximately 130 rubber bands in one reload. It is difficult to make such a machine gun, so you need to have patience and cardboard. This idea was invented and implemented by the author from the Q channel. Let's get started!

To make such a machine gun you will need:

From materials:
1. Cardboard sheets
2. Gum Pack
3. bearings (18 mm)
4. Tubes of various diameters (wooden, plastic, any)
5. A few bars
6. thread
7. A piece of a bicycle chamber, or some other rubber.
8. plywood sheet

From tools: glue gun, saw, wood drills of various diameters, knife, pencil, ruler

First you need a sheet of cardboard, a ruler and a pencil. With their help, it is necessary to draw the body of the future machine gun.

After that, it must be cut out. Since one sheet of cardboard is very thin, it must be thickened. To do this, you need to cut another 5 such parts. After cutting, everything needs to be glued with hot melt adhesive.

The bar must be marked into pieces (2 by 12, 10 and 5 centimeters,), and then they need to be cut out.

Now it is necessary in each bar to make a hole (NOT THROUGH) with an 18mm drill. After that, the bearings must be inserted into the hole.

Then it is necessary to whip out a bar 36 cm long, and after that also drill a hole and insert the bearing. Now everything needs to be glued together as the author shows.

A crown on a tree in plywood must be drilled a hole. But not the hole itself will be needed, but the circle that remains in the crown. There will be 7 such circles (Two large and five with a smaller diameter).

Now, from a piece of rubber, you need to cut a strip and stick it on the rim of a large circle with superglue.

It is also necessary to glue rubber on the second circle, but only on its entire area. Then you need to glue three small circles together, and then together with the big one.

The rest should be glued together as the author shows

Now from a large piece of cardboard you need to make a bot such a pipe.

Then in the middle you will need to insert a tube with a suitable diameter. After this, two circles of larger diameter need to be cut out of the cardboard and glued too. Now you can assemble the whole mechanism.

While the glue cools, you will need to make such a handle out of the bars and stick it to its rightful place.

Checking the mechanism!

After making sure that everything works, you need to glue the workpiece to the bottom of the case.

The bars with bearings that were made earlier must also be glued, and then insert the tubes with the desired diameter into them.

From a piece of cardboard you will need to cut two circles and also glue it.

After that, you need to cut the trunks, they will need a lot. Each barrel consists of two glued blanks. Places where gum will cling should be reinforced with pieces of cardboard, but this is not necessary.

Now each barrel needs to be inserted into pre-made grooves and glued.

Now the thread needs to be wound as the author shows

That's it! It remains only to fasten the gum and you can shoot!

Thank you all for your attention!
