In this article, the Wizard will tell and show how to make a stand for a tablet from oak planks. To make the stand he needed the following

Tools and materials:
-Oak planks;
-Glue;
-Mineral oil;
-A circular saw;
-Tape grinding machine;
- A rack for a miter saw;
-Miter saw;
- Clamps;
-Roulette;
-Marker;
- Jointer-edger;
Step One: Material Selection
For his homemade the master decided to use planks of old oak wine barrels.

Step two: processing the slats
First, the master adjusts all the strips in thickness, then trims them and cuts them in width.

Step Three: Gluing
Glues four planks together.

Step Four: Workpiece Processing
It drives the glued workpiece through the planer / planer. Cuts the workpiece.

I chose a groove on one of the slats.

Step Five: Bar
It cuts one of the glued strips across the board and glues it into a bar. Sticks bar.

Step Six: Build
Glues parts together.

Seventh step: grinding
After the glue dries, the master polishes the stand. The support bar is cut off at an angle.

Then the master processes the edges with sandpaper and covers the stand with mineral oil.

The stand for the tablet is ready. The master installed it in the kitchen and now you can cook and watch your favorite movie or cooking recipe at the same time.

Beautiful, but not functional.

I agree, especially since there is a lot of unused space behind, and such gadgets usually suffer from poor sound and weak batteries. But homemade work itself is quite original.

Judging by the holes in the slats, it can be assumed that they were composed of packages (possibly resembling heating batteries), and they were melted in metal vats, providing contact with oak wood. From the point of view of physics and chemistry - the difference with the oak barrel is minimal, except that there is no "share of angels".

I agree not from the barrels. But,

My father-in-law makes the art of reviving barrels. He acquired a massive pile of this oak tree, which is placed inside the vats with a thief, and the wine roams. This allows winemakers to ferment wine in large quantities without the use of barrels, but without prejudice to the oak taste. You can see how in all three paintings the wine crystallizes violet with sugar - it smells incredible. They are interconnected in groups of 10 or so - I do not know how many of them are placed inside the vat immediately or for a long time, but it is clear that they have been in the game for a long time.

Those. swam in wine-))). I honestly did not know that you can just lower the board (plank) into the wine and this will somehow affect it.

Not at all! )) This is not a board of old barrels, but just oak planks, boards (you can call it so and so).
