Table with LED informative backlight + binary clock

Moreover, the backlight still performs an informative role and changes color depending on the operation of your phone. You can configure it in different ways, but the wizard has a normal operating mode, the red backlight is on, when receiving SMS, green lights up, when the call is not answered, blue. The master makes an LED watch as a set for the table.

For the manufacture of the master needed the following

Step One: Design
The idea of ​​creating a table with lighting arose from the master after he saw such a table.

For his table, he chose the drawing of a motorcycle racer. As you can see from the diagram, the table top consists of two parts. An LED strip is installed on the bottom, and a pattern with an epoxy insert is applied on the top.

Step Two: Drawing
The printer prints a full-sized picture.



Step Three: Top Countertop
Further, the master makes the upper countertop of oak planks. In one board it makes a recess, and in the other a groove. Applies glue and pulls together both halves.






Step Four: Milling
On the countertop draws a contour according to the picture. Frezoy picks wood.










Step Five: LED Strip
Fixes the LED strip as shown in the photo. Checks her work.





Step Six: Fill
Seals the grooves with aluminum tape. To assess the amount of resin needed, the master uses rice. Fills all the grooves with rice. Then he collects it and kneads the same amount of epoxy. Fills the grooves with epoxy. After the resin hardens, removes aluminum tape and polishes the surface.







Sets the top countertop to the bottom and checks the result.






Seventh step: drawing transfer
It transfers the drawing to the surface of the table.









Step Eight: Processing
Waxes countertops.


Step Nine: Sync
Pair the Wi-Fi controller with the phone.



Step Ten: Watch
The table is ready and the master proceeds to manufacture the binary clock.
First, he calculates the diameter of the circles. For a second and a minute circle, 120 LEDs are needed. This is 26.3 cm. For the clock you need 96 LEDs. It is 21.2 cm.
Mills grooves with milling according to calculations.




Fastens the LED strip in the grooves.


Checks her work.


Makes another circle. Sticks it to the main dial.






Connects everything according to the scheme. Loads the code and checks the operation.

Step Eleven: Stand
Then the master makes a stand for the watch. Also on this stand he will have a telephone, in the back drawer electronics.
