Homemade bolt bit
Everyone who at least once installed a fence in the country faced with the fact that at the right moment there was no suitable bit at hand, and for some reason there was no time and desire to go to the store. In this case, an M10 bolt with a head suitable for a hexagon can come to the rescue. However, before using it for its intended purpose, the bolt needs to be slightly modified, and here is how to do it best.
1. We mark the threaded part of the screw with a marker for further milling.
2. Carefully mill in such a way that a hexagon is formed in the cut.
3. Now the bolt will hold firmly in the cartridge without turning.
4. Insert the newly made bit into the drill and perform the necessary work.

How to get a sleeve from a blind landing
Quite often, for the performance of a particular urgent work, the necessary tools are not at hand. And why are they needed if small tricks will help to cope with any task in any conditions! In another trick, the secret is how to get the sleeve if it is in a dead landing.
1. Oddly enough, but to complete the task we need ... a regular bread crumb.
2. Break off the right amount of bread, knead it well in the hands and fill with crumbs the entire inner space of the sleeve.
3. We select a part of a suitable diameter (bolt, rod, etc.) that would go into the bore of the sleeve, insert it and begin to apply precise single blows to it.
4. Oh miracle, gradually the sleeve is knocked out!
Friend of the master - magnet
A couple of tricks for those who like to work clean.
1.To ensure that all the small metal parts you are dealing with do not scatter over the container in which you store them, simply attach a regular round magnet to its back side - all the parts will literally freeze in place, waiting for you to need .
2. After hard work with metal in the workplace full of shavings and other garbage? It doesn’t matter - take an ordinary plastic bag, put the same round magnet into it and hold the bag to the trash, which immediately sticks to it. It remains only to turn the bag inside out and remove the magnet, and throw the garbage into a bucket.
