In this article, Roman, the author of the YouTube channel "all ideas", will tell you how to do device for the manufacture of threads from plastic bottles. Such threads or "hair" can be used, for example, in decor. Homemade is done very quickly, literally “on the knee”.

Manufacturing process.
Nevertheless, in this article there will be two home-made products. The first is the bottle cutter, which is already very famous for everyone. Here is its simplest version; it makes no sense to consider more complex variations; the task is a bit different, but without it there is no way. Here are the materials that Roman used.
First of all, on one side, of the two washers makes a lining, then presses the blade against the board with a self-tapping screw.
On the second side, makes a clamp for the tip of the blade, again laying two washers and pressing it with a self-tapping screw and a third washer.
Everything, the simplest bottle cutter is ready!
Now, having cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle, and pressing its upper part, pulls on the tape, dissolving the whole bottle. In this case, the washers work as stops.

The novel proceeds to the second home-made, actually the target. All tools and materials.
First bends the wire in half, then bends so that the letter T with a short base is obtained.
Now bends the edges so that the shape of a slingshot is obtained.
Everything is ready, the resulting slingshot is clamped in the chuck of a screwdriver.
The process itself begins. Ignites a gas burner. Heating the tip of the nail, wraps a melting tape on it to get a molten drop of plastic at the end.
Touching the molten drop of the tip of the slingshot, it starts a screwdriver. So the thread is drawn, it very quickly hardens in air due to rotation and small thickness. To obtain the required volume, repeat the procedure several times.
The novel removes wound threads, cuts off defective drops and edges with scissors.
These are the threads. Yes, their length is small, but they can be used in design, their color will depend on the original color of the bottles. If they are laid out on the surface and warmed until melting, interesting patterns will be obtained. The same method can be used to glue two surfaces with low heat capacity.
