It was necessary to insert glass, but there was no stekloroz, and I am not friends with them. I decided to try it like a man - a grinder.
Cuts without problems, even sparks fly. We cut the white line, then it is worth putting the glass on the edge of an even plane, it breaks along the line from the sneeze.



Example of cutting 4 mm glass. In general, it is good to cut thick glass, 4-3 mm. Thinner can crack, especially if there is a bearing run out (I have strong ones). Never press the grinder, the disc should only touch the glass. Carefully you need to start and end at the edges.

It is advisable to take the disk small, sharpened, there are fewer beats.

If you cut a bottle or other thick glass with pressure, then the glass begins to melt like plastic. Do not forget about the safety rules. Goggles and protection are required!

4 mm glass is thin. 3mm is very thin. I think it would be possible to scratch with a diamond disk from the same grinder, hands under the ruler. Further as usual.

Then (after some years) they redid it to rectangular frames.

Buy a good glass cutter, just not Bieber and not Staer and Cut, believe me, it is much simpler, faster, safer, and most importantly, the perfect quality of the edge.
