This advice is useful to many craftsmen and motorists who have to use, for example, WD40 grease. I am sure that many simply throw away used cans.
In this article, the YouTube author of George Kosilov will tell you how to refill such a cylinder with almost any liquid and make it work again!
Materials
- Oil
- White Spirit
- Gas for lighters.
Instruments, used by the author.
- syringe
- Lighter
- nail
- Transitional duct.
Manufacturing process.
First of all, the author releases the remaining gas and grease from the spray can.
Then he removes the spray cap, unpacks the syringe.
Now you need to make sure that the nozzle of the syringe fits tightly on the cartridge valve.
Since the holes have almost the same diameter, the author takes a carnation of a suitable diameter, an ordinary lighter, and heats up the nozzle of the syringe.
The plastic is melted, now carefully inserts the carnation. Now the connection of the bottle and syringe is perfect.
The author takes engine oil, but since it is thick, it dilutes it to a more liquid consistency with white spirit.
Then he collects the mixture in a syringe, connects it to the cylinder. Now pressing until the valve opens, presses the mixture into the cylinder.
Now he puts a thin rubber tube on the cylinder valve and connects a cylinder with liquefied gas for lighters to it. Fills the first cylinder with gas.
Everything, the cylinder is now lubricated and under pressure. Reinstall the spray head.
In this way, you can fill any liquid, the main thing is that it is sufficiently fluid and liquid.
Thanks to the author for a simple but useful tip for restoring the functionality of cans!
Observe safety precautions; do not refill a lot of liquid and gas in a cylinder.
Good mood to you all!
