From complex to simple. A master from India not only does complicated things like "Plant for the production of biogas", but also makes more ordinary things, like a simple manual shredder. The shredder is designed primarily for slicing thin potatoes, but it can also chop the onion. Device made of waste materials and does not require any large material costs.
Tools and materials:
- Canvas for metal;
-Handle screwdriver;
-Boltik 3 x 25 and two nuts to it;
-Bolt 6 x 100;
-Dremel;
-Cold welding;
-Epoxy adhesive;
-Gloves;
-Sandpaper;
Step One: Bolt Processing
The master sharpens the end of the bolt under the wit.
Step two: install the bolt
Cold welding fixes the bolt head in the handle.
Step Three: The Canvas
Hacksaw blade will be used as a blade. The canvas is old, so you need to clean it from rust.
Installs a bolt in the hole and fixes with nuts.
Cuts to the desired length.
Next, you need to drill a hole on the other end of the blade, but the master did not succeed and he did a cut, and then covered the edge with a copper plate.
Step Four: Lock Connections
For strength, the master poured all the fixed joints with epoxy.
Step Five: Slicing
Inserts peeled potatoes on a bolt. Screws the blade onto the bolt. After shredding, it remains only to fry the potatoes. As you can see in the photo, the spiral turned out to be very thin.
Onions can also be chopped.
But carrots and tomatoes did not succeed in chopping. But, I think, if you take a wider step, then tomatoes can be chopped.
After shredding, be sure to wash and dry the shredder. It is also advisable to lubricate the blade with oil.
In the video you can see an example of slicing vegetables.
This is how you can make a useful thing out of garbage.
