Sharpening scissors, method one
The method is very simple, and any housewife can use it at any time right in the process of working with the fabric. You will need a regular sewing needle, which is placed across between the tool blades and sharpen them, conducting along its surface.
The needle remains motionless during sharpening, and the scissor blades move rhythmically and with a pull along its surface in the direction of “toward you”, clamping the needle with their base at the beginning of movement and releasing at the end. Needles with scissors as if trying to "cut."
Typically, the scissors become sharp after 1-2 minutes of such sharpening.
Sharpening scissors, method two
This method is even more convenient than the first, but in order to use it you will need fine-grained sandpaper. Moreover, the smaller the size of its grains, the better.
In order to sharpen the scissor blades on the sandpaper, they simply cut it with scissors until the blades acquire the necessary sharpness.
Of course, if there are potholes on the scissor blades, or before that they cut, for example, metal wire, it is unlikely that they can be made sharper with these methods, you will have to carry them to the workshop. But they can be used to sharpen scissors, which are dull during normal prolonged use.
