5 tricks that can come in handy in everyday life

Every day we do many different things. And often we do not have time to complete what we planned. Moreover, just simple, routine actions and minor economic difficulties take up a lot of time.

We bring to your attention a few tricks that can - albeit a little - but help in everyday situations.

Trick 1. A quick way to style clothes

After each washing and ironing in the apartment, a mountain of all kinds of clothes is formed, which must be put and put into the closet. So the ability to neatly and quickly fold things seems very useful. In addition, such a skill greatly simplifies any toll.

There are many ways to pack things. We offer a simple and effective technique, thanks to which literally in three movements you can neatly fold t-shirts, shirts, jumpers, sweaters, etc.

So, take a T-shirt and lay it out on a flat surface.

Then we pinch the fabric of the T-shirt (in the farthest half from you) at the top - in the middle of the segment between the sleeve and the collar neckline. Next, draw a mental line from the place of our pinch down. We find its middle, and take it with the second hand.

Fold the top to the bottom. After that, we start the movement with the left hand, as if twisting a T-shirt. We put it on the table and fold it again.

That's all, the t-shirt is laid. Moreover, both in front and behind everything looks very nice and neat. Even if we deploy it, we will see that everything is even there and nothing is wrinkled.

Use this simple and quick way of styling, and it will save time, free up additional space in the closet, and also minimize the risk of subsequent removal of clothing.

Trick 2. We accurately measure 1/2 and 1/4 liquids or loose bodies in a glass

When you need to measure half or a quarter cup of some cereal or liquid, and there is no measuring container, geometry comes to the rescue. Let us make a reservation right away: in order for the measurements to be accurate, you should use a glass of cylindrical shape.

To get half a glass, you need to fill it, and then pour the liquid (or pour out - in the case of loose bodies) until it in an inclined position covers all of its bottom. In other words, in the lower part of the inclined glass, a “triangle” of contents should be obtained that coincides with the corners of the glass itself.

The plane of the surface of the liquid in this case will pass through the diagonal of the axial section of the glass, and we will get the desired volume.

If you want to measure a quarter of the glass, you must empty it until the bottom corner of its contents reaches the middle of the bottom of the glass.

Trick 3. Beautiful serving of cutlery

Table setting for various holidays or celebrations always involves the use of paper napkins. Usually they are simply laid next to a plate in order to put cutlery on them. We offer to surprise guests and add charm to the decoration of the festive table, having worked a little with napkins.

Use should be serving (holiday) square napkins with bright patterns.

Our task is to fold the napkins in such an unusual and original way so that cutlery can be put in them. To do this, take a napkin and bend one layer from the lower right corner up (about a quarter of the height). Then we bend the same corner two more times - to the middle and to ¾ in height.

The next step: bend twice up - to the junction with our first fold - the next layer of napkins. It should be like this.

Now take the napkin with your right hand at the upper right corner, and turn it over. It turns out that our bend bands pass (from the back) from bottom to top from the bottom to the top. We bend the bottom corner up to the middle of the napkin height, after which we bend the opposite corner with a slight overlap towards.

It remains to turn the napkin. All is ready. We have a beautiful pocket where you can insert cutlery.

It looks good.
Have a nice holiday!

Trick 4. Knife case

It often happens that a knife needs to be transported to the country or taken with you to a picnic. How to pack it safely if there is no cover? You can use a sleeve from paper towels or toilet paper (depending on the size of the knife). With the help of a stapler, it turns into a practical, and, most importantly, free case in a minute.

The sleeve must be crushed in half and a knife inserted into it. Then in the upper part we fasten it with a stapler in several places. In the lower part we also fasten the sleeve with a stapler, but only with the expectation that later the knife can be easily reached.

Trick 5. Clips for open packages

Finally, another (out of countless) way of using wine corks.

Among other things, they make excellent “closures” for open packages. To make a clamp out of a cork, you just need to make a longitudinal cut in it with a knife - until about the middle.

After that, they perfectly put on bags and look quite stylish.

We will say goodbye to this. We hope that our tricks will help make your life easier and more interesting. Good luck and success in everything!
