I welcome fans to craft, in this instruction we will analyze how to make a simple and interesting lamp do it yourself. It is made quite simply from the available materials. The peculiarity of the lamp is that it works on battery power, so it can be used not only as a night lamp, but also as a lamp.
The main part of the lamp is made of wood, and plexiglass is used as glass. If the project interests you, I propose to familiarize yourself with it in more detail.

The manufacturing process of the lamp:
Step one. Putting the case together
The author made the lamp housing from available pine boards. After firing, the wood pattern burned out beautifully and an interesting pattern was obtained. We need boards, we cut them and glue them to get the desired width.
Next, we need to drill round logs from the boards, here we need crowns for a large diameter drill. After that, we grind each round on a belt sander.
Next, take a smaller diameter crown and cut holes in the rounds. And when everything is ready, remove the burrs, grind and glue. We clamp everything with clamps and let the glue dry.
Step Two Body processing
When everything sticks together, we cut the case at an angle and grind it. The author polishes it with a drill and a sandpaper disc. We will also need to trim the case on a belt sander.
At the end, the housing must be burned. Burnt pine look pretty pretty. For these purposes, a gas burner is suitable.
Step Three Glass, LEDs and impregnation
First, we install an LED strip inside the case. The author made two loops inside, glue the tape and bring the wires out through the case. Another case inside was glued with foil, this allows better diffuse light.
After that, you can install glass, which is perfect plexiglass. We cut out two pieces of the desired size and shape and glue using epoxy glue. We make the glasses frosted with sandpaper, so they will better diffuse the light, and the insides will not be visible.
The case is impregnated with drying oil, and preferably with special oil for wood.
Step Four Lamp base and assembly
For the base you will need a thick board, and if there is no required thickness, they can simply be glued together. The basis will be installed electronicsas well as a battery.
In total, two modules are used here from electronics. One module is responsible for charging the battery, the author soldered to it the usual classic socket for connecting chargers.
And one module converts the battery voltage to the voltage from which the LED strip works, it's 12V. The battery is used by 18650, and the module will need a boost from 5V to 12V. The circuit also has a switch.
At the base, we drill recesses for installing the battery, as well as electronics, fix them with hot glue. From above, we close the whole thing with a board, the author puts it on the glue, but it is better to screw the part with screws, so the product will be collapsible. We burn the base and saturate with oil, as well as the body.
The finishing touch is the handle, a piece of natural rope is used as it.
