Today I will tell you how Master made a coffee table.
It has a fairly simple design, and the author using milling and carpentry tools easily made this table. The author wanted to create a real part of the family heirloom, which he could keep in his house for many years.
1. The author uses several raw white oak planks as material. The author has no fancy milling equipment, no carpentry, no large planing machine, so most of the work will be done manually using some hand tools.
The author began to cut this large piece of wood into smaller pieces with a circular saw.
2. Next, the author leveled the plane with a plane so that in the future all parts of the table were smooth.
3. Once the board has been leveled, the author cut the legs using a circular saw.
4. Since the legs were narrow, the author glued them together to get the right size.
Then, after gluing, he trimmed and polished all sides of the legs.
5. For the top of the table, the author used an oak tree also aligning it with a planer and gluing it to the desired size
6. Next, the tabs for table assembly were cut
7. After drying of the upper part after gluing, the table was cut to size and polished.
8. To cut through the poses, exactly this was done. fixtures, the grooves were cut by the milling machine, then the author inserted all the parts into the poses to check what happened.
9. Next, all poses were oiled with glue and assembled the frame of the table.
10. Cut corners in the countertop
11. The whole table was fastened with screws and put the countertop in place.
