How to make a hair dryer do it yourself

Good day to all my dear friends. In today's article, I would like to show and tell you a rather interesting idea homemade. And yes, it will again be made of corrugated cardboard, but you can use other materials to your taste and color. In these homemade products, corrugated cardboard is used mainly because it is very common and it is much easier to make something out of it than from the same iron, plastic and wood.

In general, we figured out the preface, and today we will do a real hair dryer! He will even have air heating when blowing.

Well then, probably enough to chat, it's time to start considering the manufacture of this homemade product.

And so, for a simple hairdryer from corrugated cardboard we need:
-corrugated cardboard
- power supply (in this case, two crowns at 9 volts)
connector for crown
electric motor
aluminum jar
-switch
wire
-Nichrome wire

Of the tools we will also need:
hotmelt
soldering iron
-scissors
-stationery knife
pencil or marker

First thing is to connect the whole electronics into a single scheme. Make it easy with a soldering iron. But first, you need to connect two crowns in series, due to their structure, they are connected very, very simply.

It is necessary to connect as shown in the photo below.
We test, when the switch is turned on, the motor should begin to spin quickly, and the nichrome wire will heat up a little, but not too much. If you also want to adjust the rotation speed, simply add a variable resistor to the circuit breaker to the circuit. And you can also add an additional switch to the nichrome wire, so that you can turn off the warm air:

Now we take a ruler, corrugated cardboard, a pencil and begin to draw some details, their shape and size can be seen in the photo below. Then they naturally need to be cut with scissors or a clerical knife:

We heat the hot glue, apply it to one of the sides of the part and glue it to the other, larger part. This will be the basis of the whole structure.

On this basis, it is necessary to arrange everything done in a certain order. How to do this, you can look at the photos below. The nichrome wire needs to be located in the front, and the electric motor in the back. Batteries and switch, starts naturally in the hairdryer. Then you need to glue all the other parts to the base of the structure, there is nothing complicated here, just do everything as shown in the photo below:

We take an aluminum can from under the soda and cut off the upper and lower parts, and the remaining cone, cut across and get a sheet of aluminum, as in the photo below.

We attach a cardboard circle with a diameter of 4.5 cm to it and circle it with a helium pen or marker. After that, divide the resulting circle into 4 equal parts with a ruler.

Then we cut the circle and with the help of scissors, we cut the circle along the lines, but we do not reach the center.
The result should be a small fan. And everything needs to be done again as in the photo below:

We put this propeller on the electric motor and glue it firmly to the motor axis. It is important to make the column so that when the fan rotates, it blows air into the hair dryer and blows from the back. All this must be foreseen in advance, but if you forgot to do it, you can always simply change the motor power contacts, or simply remove and turn the propeller over. The main thing is not to forget to stick it back:

From the corrugated cardboard we cut out a large rectangle and carefully remove the top layer of paper from it. This is necessary to make cardboard more flexible and flexible.

We take the resulting sheet and glue it with hot melt to the overall structure. It is necessary to glue so that the cardboard does not touch either the propeller or the nichrome wire. But it also should not be too wide. In general, everything needs to be done as shown in the photo below:

Well, it remains only to decorate the resulting hair dryer:

That's it! A simple corrugated cardboard hairdryer is ready and you just have to test it. To do this, simply take it and magnify it, direct the air stream where necessary and see how effective and strong it is. Of course, cardboard is not the best material for this homemade product, since it contains a heating element, which is undesirable to install in such a material, since it is flammable. For example, one could use the same aluminum jar for the case, but the author of the home-made did otherwise. In general, this homemade discount is great for leisure activities. The work of this hairdryer can be seen in the photo below, as well as in the author’s video:

Here is a video from the author with a detailed assembly and testing of this homemade product:

Well, thank you all for your attention and good luck in future projects, friends!

Maybe a cylinder?
On the electric motor put on the propeller[/ quote]
Right on the motor itself?

This is generally beyond my comprehension!
To do this, just take it and magnify[/ quote]
Where is the text of the great chant?

That's right, throw in a bucket at your leisure!
And the last question: what is the percentage of moisture taken over the life of the batteries? smile
