At the beginning of the 60s, the development of the 135 bomber was carried out in the Tupolev Design Bureau
There were several options for this aircraft.
Using these drawings, the available motors and regulators, I decided to do something similar.
Materials used: mainly - a simple, sheet substrate for a laminate, 5 mm thick.
I also used ceiling tiles and Penoplex insulation. Clay "Titan", various adhesive tape.
Decided on the scale and size.
Cut the workpiece.
Fitting keel and air ducts.
Motors and supports are installed under the chassis.
I want to draw your attention to the design feature of this model. Motors are mounted on the plane of elevons. To do this, foam inserts are mounted on the elevons, to which pieces of hardboard are glued, for mounting motors.
Mounted platform for installing the cab. The cabin was cut out of a plastic bottle from under mineral water.

Install PGO, try on the cab, install the chassis

Model got the name - "INDIGO"

After several flights, I decided to reconstruct the model a bit. Put one powerful engine and two keels, to increase directional stability.
