How to make fried eggs using magnets and an electric motor? Having made an induction furnace from these materials. And how to do this, let's try to deal with the master. The master did not set himself the goal of making a beautiful slab, but rather a textbook. But this does not mean that the stove is not functional.
Tools and materials:
-Neodymium magnets;
-Electric motor;
-Plywood;
-Board;
-Hacksaw;
-Fasteners;
-Plexiglass;
-A screwdriver;
Step One: Magnets
The master, on a template, fixes neodymium magnets on a plywood disk. Magnets need to be installed alternating, polarity. In the center of the disk you need cuts a hole for the motor shaft.
Step Two: Engine
In the countertop cuts the same hole as in the disk. Secures the engine under the countertop. The engine master took from the treadmill. The engine is connected via a speed control.
Step Three: Cooker
Fastens a disk with magnets on a motor shaft. The disc should rotate freely without clinging to the countertops.
On the supports sets a sheet of plexiglass. Plexiglass should be as close to the magnets as possible.
Step Four: Testing
Now it's time to test the operation of the induction furnace. The master turns on the engine and spins it up to 1600 rpm. He puts the pan on the stove and measures the temperature.
The pan warmed up to 49 ° C. Then the master adds one more magnet to the second tier.
In this case, it was possible to heat the surface of the pan to 104-115 degrees. It is possible to fry fried eggs or boil water.
Unlike induction cookers sold in stores where only utensils with a high percentage of iron can be used, this stove can be cooked in both aluminum and copper utensils.
You can see how the author makes and tests the furnace in the video below.
