Hello! I will show a fairly common etching method, it is very simple. Let's start!
Materials:
- the power supply is 12v 1a (I have 19v 2.4a) it doesn’t really matter, these characteristics depend only on the etching time.
- a wire with a socket for the power supply, at the other end a crocodile (plus) and nails (minus).
- metal
- salt
- water
- cotton wool
- adhesive tape
- scalpel or soldering iron
Stage 1
First, prepare the metal surface for etching. We take solvent or gasoline and wipe the surface.
Stage 2
Then we take tape and glue it on the metal surface.
Stage 3
We put any inscription on the tape, I wrote BMW.
Stage 4
Using a soldering iron or scalpel, we cut out the inscription or drawing.
Stage 5
We start etching. Dissolve the salt in water until the salt ceases to dissolve. Plus we attach to the metal, and minus the nail on which the cotton wool is wound. We dip cotton wool in saline solution and on a previously prepared metal section and poison for some time. Then after 2-5 minutes we get a certain internal pattern.
