Sometimes when hiking in nature, many were faced with the fact that I really want to drink hot tea or coffee, but to make a fire is long and problematic. And as always, a solution was found - a camping burner made of cans. At one gas station of the burner, you can boil two and a half liter camp pots of water (or 30 minutes of burning).
To make a camping burner we need:
• two empty soda or beer cans;
• glass wool;
• wire;
• alcohol;
• push pin, sandpaper and knife.
With a sandpaper, peel the paint off the bottom of the cans. Measure 2.5 cm from the bottom of the can and carefully cut the bottom of one can. In order to cut evenly, hold the knife blade between the pages of a thick book (or fix it as you wish).
Gently sand the edges with sandpaper.
Using the second can, gently “stretch” the edges of the workpiece.
We put cotton in the base of the burner.
Now let's start making the top of the burner. Let's make one more such blank, only we won’t stretch the edges.
Using the pushpin, we pierce the filling holes and the combustion holes.
We collect the burner. The upper and lower parts should fit tightly.
From the wire you need to make a stand for the pan.
Fill the burner with alcohol (exactly as much as cotton wool can absorb).
Warm up the bottom a little, set fire to the burner.
