Homemade duplicating the work of car turn signals

Many drivers forget to turn off the direction indicator after passing the intersection, misleading other drivers. To prevent this from happening, I gathered homemade duplicating the work of direction indicators with a sound signal. Here is a homemade scheme

The circuit is very simple, which is a sound generator of two transistors, two capacitors, one resistor and a telephone capsule TK-67, or TA-56m at 50th. To do this, we need the following materials and tools:

1-Transistors MP-25, MP-37, resistor MLT-0.25W with a resistance of 1 kom, electrolytic capacitor with a capacity of 5 microfarads 25v, MBM capacitor with a capacity of 0.05 microfarads, telephone capsule TA-56m 50ohm, switch. 2-soldering iron, solder, rosin, tweezers, wire cutters, circuit board with petals from any old TV, mounting wires.

We assemble as follows:

Step 1- Checking the radio parts with a multimeter

To do this, put the device on the 2000 ohm resistance measurement, connect the black probe of the device to the base of the MP-25 transistor, and the red one to the collector, the device should have a resistance of about 170 ohm.

Next, connect the black probe to the base, and the red one to the emitter, on the device too - 170th.

Now we swap the probes, on the device should be - 1.

We measure the resistance between the emitter and the collector - on the device -1.

In the same way, we check the MP-37 transistor, in this case the red probe - to the base, black - to the collector, and then - to the emitter, the device should be about 170 ohms. Swap probes - shows -1. Resistance KE - 1.

Check the resistance of the resistor, as shown in the photo.

We also check the capacitors and the telephone capsule.

Step 2 - solder the parts to the circuit board, first we solder the jumpers between the petals from the wires. Then we solder the capacitors and resistor, and after that we solder the transistors and after that - the switch and the capsule.

Step 3

We check the operability of the homemade product by connecting + 12V power to it from the power supply or the car battery. A generated signal should be heard in the telephone capsule.

Step 4 - put the homemade product in any suitable housing for this, at your discretion. This is not shown in the photo. Next, install the homemade product in the car. With a minimum of parts - a great benefit for the driver.

In general, I managed with two parts: an electrolytic capacitor of 220 microfarads per 100 volts and a small speaker at 40 ohms. Before that, there was a squeaker, but it began to annoy too much.

In Citroen fresh saw a regular tweeter. Even the sounds could be selected, clicked like a relay, the bell rang and some other, did not remember. Convenient in most cases. I plan to collect something for myself, otherwise the relay is quiet, you can’t hear it practically, sometimes you forget to turn it off and the auto switch does not work.

And there are cars in which the turn signals are not duplicated by indicators on the dashboard and (albeit quiet, but still) sound? Plus, turn signals tend to turn off after completing a turn.
There is no limit to perfection: you can give out to the speakers a sound whose volume is proportional to the value of the engine speed, and, accordingly, the speed of the device.
In terms of honing skills and achieving Zen, the proposed device has the right to be. From the point of view of practical benefit, the value is doubtful.

If the tweeter is annoying, then you can turn it off. To do this, I set the B1 switch. IZH-2126-020 ODA has a factory generator that duplicates the turn signals. And yet, with heavy traffic, the squeaker is very helpful.

The number of parts can be reduced even more if you use a single-junction transistor KT117. It is its analogue assembled on two transistors.
The advisability of installing such a tweeter is very doubtful. At first I like it, after a while it starts to annoy. Then it begins to interfere, especially if in an unfamiliar city and driving on a navigator or in a car, a child falls asleep.
I have not seen a regular sound duplication of turn signals in any car. But for the sake of profit, manufacturers pop a bunch of any (unnecessary, as it turns out later) electronic equipment.
