Good day. Often there is a situation when you need to grind some kind of tool or some materials for making something, homemade eg. The grinding machine perfectly copes with these tasks, also the people call it a sharpener or emery. On the Internet there are many varieties of ground, but they have one function. But do not rush to get a factory machine. Any master is able to make a grinder for himself, consists of a grinder from an electric motor and an abrasive disc. Usually home-made sharpeners are made from an engine from a washing machine, but what if there is none. The answer is either to buy or to look for another option. One of the options for making a sharpener was invented by one craftsman. From a grinder and some metal, he made a simple sharpener. I liked the idea and I decided to write this article, which describes the entire process of making this homemade product.
Well then, let's get started.
For the manufacture of this homemade material / tools are needed:
1. Corner
2. A steel plate, larger and smaller (the bastard did not give the size, you have to pick it yourself)
3. Bolts (It doesn’t matter here - the structure is not cooked, but bolted together. Only one bolt secures the structure to the grinder.)

Step 1. Production
Homemade is very easy to manufacture, so I will describe it in one step. But if you don’t understand what, then you can watch the video where everything is shown in detail. At this step, a piece is cut from the corner. The size of the segment of the corner is approximately equal to 3 or 4 parts of the grinder. But you can cut a corner along the entire length of the grinder. So just in case, it was possible to fix the grinder well. Further, a p-shaped form is formed from a piece of steel plate. This is done so, a piece of the plate grinder is cut into half thickness. Further, the plate is clamped in a vice and bent as seen in the photo. Then the plate is attached to the corner with bolts. Now it remains to make the site, as on a grinder. For the manufacture of the site, cut two smaller corners of equal size. The excess is cut off from the plate and two holes are drilled.The length of the course of the course is marked at the corners (it does not sound clear, but looking at the pictures or video I think you will understand). At the mark, the stroke length is drilled and polished with a file, the corners are bolted to the plate. The next step is to make the platform itself out of a larger steel plate, four holes are drilled on it and at the corners. Then the plate is bolted to the corners. In almost all holes, a thread is cut with a tap, but I think you already understand.
Step 2. Testing
The design is attached to the grinder, a grinding disk is put on the grinder. That's all, the homemade product is ready, it remains only to test it. You can watch the testing of this homemade video. I’ll add from myself that if you make the corner longer, then you can attach a motor with an abrasive disk to it and there will be a full emery.
