If you replaced the hard drive on your computer, then do not rush to throw away the old one, you can make a small grinding machine out of it. The master had an old Samsung 7500 rpm hard drive. From it, he decided to make a grinding station.

Tools and materials:
-HDD;
-Screwdriver;
-Plywood;
-Driver engine;
-Emery disc;
- Plugs with internal thread - 4 pcs;
- Thermo-glue;
- Power supply 12 V 2 A;

Step one: disassembling the disk
First you need to disassemble the hard drive enclosure. Unscrews the cap screws.

One screw is hidden under the sticker.

Disassembles the internal parts. By the way, there are neodymium magnets in the hard drive.

Removes a disc.

Unscrews the board.

Step Two: Engine Driver
Solder wires to the motor contacts.

Connects the other ends of the wires to the terminals of the motor driver.

Screws two wires to the input of the board.

Step Three: Bushings
Further, the master unscrews the engine and lifts it above the body with the help of threaded bushings.

Step Four: Drive
Now you need to install the grinding disk. First, the wizard installs the hard drive. Above sets the grinding disc. Fixes with a washer.

Step Five: Build
From MDF cuts the base. Glues the body to the base.

The driver hides the driver board in a plastic container.

Glues socket and switch.

Adheres cushioning legs.

Now it remains to connect the plug of the power supply to the device connector.

Therefore, I know for sure that such an emery (from the washer) is not emery, but an emery cloth!)))). To grind a knife ... To correct something ... But to it there is an application ...
Question: the engine from the vinarian will not be weaker, an hour?)))). If weaker - then such an emery is definitely not needed!))))
