These homemade, invented by the author of Instructables under the nickname caitlinsdad, can be laid out around the room, and then invite guests without focusing on new elements of the interior. What will they think, how will they behave?
Cardboard "ingots" repeat in shape and size the real standards of the London Good Delivery Bar. The bottom plane of such an ingot has the shape of a rectangle measuring 9 by 2 inches, the top - 10 by 3 inches. Thickness - 1.5 inches, weight (we are talking about a real bullion) - about 27 pounds, but it is not indicated, but bullion is weighed immediately before each transaction.
Repeating in a makeshift such a weight does not make sense, and the dimensions can be repeated very approximately. This is how a master from a cardboard box from something makes a flat blank "ingot":
Turns it into a volumetric one:
Apply a thin layer of ordinary papier-mâché to the corners, rounding them:
Covers the workpiece with several layers of glue, allowing each of them to dry. On places where there will be a marking, sticks thin, but dense (not corrugated) cardboard. Marking is done with the pen in which the paste ended. Not without the Instructables logo:
It remains to paint the product. The first coat of paint is red, the rest is metallic, golden in color. Each of the layers must be completely dried before applying the next. That's it, you can lay out the room and call the guests:
