This time decided to show you model experimental aircraft Ryan XV-5 Vertifan (USA), which was built by my friend.
First of all, the aircraft impressed the author of the model with an original solution for controlling power plants. Due to the use of dampers, the flight modes of the aircraft are switched from horizontal to vertical and vice versa.
Bribed by the use of three points of installation of screws mounted in the wings and fuselage.

Estimated weight - 1200-1300g (without marching motor).
The model began to build with the installation of a skeleton, which will later be sheathed with a ceiling.
The author took a carbon tube with a diameter of 8 mm as the basis of the skeleton, which passes through all frames from the tail to the nose of the fuselage.
Production of frames. The part is measured in place, drawn on paper, a template is cut out and cut out from the ceiling.
The installation of the casing on the resulting frame from the ceiling begins.
A spar from a wooden lath is glued into the wing, motors will be mounted on it.
Further work on the model required trial approaches to determine the CT models and the installation location of other electronics. I had to choose the most revving motors to create the necessary traction.
In the process, had to make design changes.
Motors are installed, wires from regulators are laid. There is a painting of individual structural elements.
Bow motor - 3020 1800kv
To move the model in horizontal flight, an impeller is installed at the top of the fuselage.
Screw - 9x5 three-blade. Shortened to a diameter of 120 mm.
The motors in the wing - D2822 / 14 1450kv, later replaced by motors - D2826 / 10 1400kw.
Screws -8x4.5x3, later two screws are installed.
Regulators - 40 A.
Battery - 2300 3S 30C
The wings slide back 30 mm.
