We talked about how to use plastic bottles for various crafts and it was almost "green" i.e. crafts close to nature.
But today we will show you a 100% “green” option for using unnecessary plastic bottles. The idea belongs to our Brazilian colleagues, they realized it in the quarters, where there is a lot of concrete and little green.
We will need the following materials and tools:
- Plastic bottles in large quantities.
- Twine kapron.
- Drill or awl.
- Knife and scissors.
- Earth and plants.
how to make flower pots from plastic bottles
Making a vertical garden on the wall from plastic bottles.
In each plastic bottle we cut a hole under the seedlings on the side. It is better to use the same bottles of one and a half simple and even shapes. In order for the slices to be the same, use the template from the first correctly cut bottle.
Then, in each bottle in the area of the neck and bottom, we make through holes through which we will thread the lace. You can make holes in the bottom with an awl, but you have to tinker with the neck - you can’t do without a drill. If there is no drill, you can not drill at all, but make loops and tie around the cork. However, with this method, even intervals are not so easy to achieve.
Now go to the mount. At the top of the selected wall we mark the width of the bottle. Then we securely fasten the rail with drilled holes for twine or drive in nails, / screw in screws for fastening the guides.
The final stage of assembly of the structure is first performed on the ground. We pass the twine through the bottles. Under each hole in the neck we tie a tie, under each hole in the bottom you need several knots, and it is better to insert a piece of wire rolled into a ring into the knot so that the bottle does not break in the future. Next, we garter the bottles on the twine to the guide rail on top of the wall. All construction complete.
Now it remains to fill the bottles with earth, somewhere to the middle and plant the plants there. It is better to use unpretentious, fast-growing crops that are planted on balconies.
