Music boxes have been known since the late 18th century. The peak of the product’s popularity occurred in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The work of such boxes was based on mechanics and lost only one melody. The master also decided to make a music box, but using electronics.

Step One: Holes
Marks and drills holes for the speaker and buttons. Treats edges with sandpaper.
Step Two: Cover
Covers the box in several layers under mahogany.
Step Three: electronics
Mounts buttons, power, speaker wires on the module. Installs an SD card in the slot of the module with a melody.
Covers the box again.
Glues the speaker. Mounts buttons, circuit board, toggle switch.
Step Four: Lever
To start listening to the melody, you need to pull the lever on the outside of the box. The lever switches the toggle switch. The lever is made of wire. A loop is bent on one side of the lever, which is worn on the toggle switch lever, and on the other, a metal ball is soldered.
After assembling the box, it covers with shellac.
The music box is ready. A feature of such a box is the ability to select a melody with buttons.
