Now the author takes out from his stocks a huge box with many different motors, you can immediately see that in front of us is a real master, he doesn’t throw anything away. The author needs to find a low-power motor, one that can set in motion the solar panel. The author checked a few pieces and one small engine came up to him.
When the engine is selected by the author, he again goes to poke around in his supplies and finds there an old model of a sailing boat, which in his youth stood on a bookshelf, and now he can again come in handy. Of course, using a boat model is not necessary for this homemade product, you can simply cut a piece of wood in the shape of a boat. You can try to cut out of polystyrene or expanded polystyrene, but most likely such a boat will be too light and it will be demolished by the wind.
Also, the author finds a metal rod with an approximate diameter of 2 mm and a tube. The inner diameter of the tube should be slightly larger than the diameter of the rod.
