When machining a part on a lathe, sometimes it becomes necessary to check the radial runout. For these purposes, a special indicator is used. But the indicator needs to be fixed on something. An interesting solution was invented by the Master, he made a holder with a magnetic base. Now it can be fixed without problems anywhere in the machine.
The author had a metal square. He turned it, cut it, drilled holes and the part turned out, as in the last photo.
The second part of the holder is the holder for the camera. A powerful magnet is glued into the bottom of the holder.
Screws the nut onto the threads of the holder. On the other hand, screw the stud. On a hairpin sets a clip with the indicator.
