I decided to write an article about simple designs of bourgeois. I had to heat various production facilities, ranging from 12-15 m2 to 60 m2, height 3-3.6m. Fuel is the most diverse.
Firewood: pallets, tree trunks, chipboard (old furniture), hemp.
Alternative fuel))): tires 13-16, plastic barrels similar to barrels from under PVA. For small rooms, two designs of gas pots made of gas cylinders were made.
First design.
The cylinder was placed horizontally along the ground; it has no ash pan and grate. The thrust was regulated by a flap standing in the pipe in the boiled door. The door was a huge advantage of this stove as it was as large as possible and it was possible to stick firewood of any diameter. The door was part of the cylinder, it was cut off from the cylinder in a special way so as not to damage the ring inside and the door was snug against the stove body. Due to this design, the doors on the stove, hinges and constipation are home-made. A potbelly stove of this size is enough for a room of 15 m2. A huge number of advantages, you can heat with firewood of large size and diameter.
The second design: top burning stove, long burning or bubafony (everyone calls it as convenient to anyone).
Its advantage is that it burns for five hours and does not need to be thrown, it can be useful for greenhouses and chicken coops. The design in the photo above is classic, namely the design of the piston. But there are designs that are simpler and the efficiency is no worse.
Well, and another photo, how this stove can do (fuel pine firewood).
This is thanks to such a refinement.
Well, now the construction of a large potbelly stove: a 200 liter barrel is taken, it is placed horizontally, legs and a chimney are welded, a window is cut under the door (again a larger one), a door is made of sheet metal and welded to the canopies, and then to the barrel body. Well, all the potbelly stove is ready))).
In these photos a plastic barrel or tire is lit in a potbelly stove. When burning this fuel, the pipe should be 200 mm in diameter. Such a stove is enough for a room of 30-60 m2, but I had a fan with a channel air conditioner, aimed at the back wall of the stove, so heating such a large room is more efficient. All stove designs are taken from the Internet.
