Armrest pad of furniture, sofa or chair, a comfortable thing. It almost does not take up space, but you can put a mug of coffee, a glass of wine on it, and football fans, even a bottle of beer with a plate of chips. To make the stand you need the following

Step one: procurement of parts
To make the stand, the master used a board of red cedar. Sawed into two parts.
Then passes the halves through the planer, aligns in thickness. Cuts to size.

Step Two: Preparing for Pouring
From MDF makes a box.
The bottom of the box is sealed with tape. Lays inside the workpiece. Now you need the distance on both sides of the workpiece to be the same. Levels workpieces. With a glue gun fixes the workpiece and closes the slots of the box.
Step Three: Fill
Stir the epoxy according to the instructions. Pours into two glasses.
Adds its own dye to each glass. Pearl flakes (decorative) are added to one of the glasses. Stirs the contents.
Levels the box.
Fills epoxy resin between the workpieces.
To remove air bubbles, the epoxy is heated by a burner.
Step Four: Processing
The resin froze, and the master removes the workpiece from the box, rounds and polishes.
Step Five: Making the Stand
Measures the width of the armrest of a sofa.
Makes a pattern.
Saws the workpiece into three parts. The angle washed down 45 degrees.
All three parts of the stand for flat dowels and glue are connected.
Step Six: Processing, Finishing
Wets the stand and allows it to dry. This technique raises the fiber and then you just need to sand it. To give shine, rubs the surface with chips.
Now you need to wipe the surface and open with varnish in four layers.
The stand is ready.
