Model narrow-gauge tank engine Tyn 6 3636

Hello dear lovers homemade!
I want to start my story with a verse, or rather a refrain, a very old, forgotten by all, song of my childhood.

Yes, indeed it was an unforgettable sight when this huge, steam-shrouded, belching black smoke puffed out, rattling, iron “monster” named steam engine rushed along the rails. I didn’t see large steam locomotives and I don’t remember them well, but with the small trains, the Cuckoos with a narrow gauge, I knew quite well. We often went to the cottage and used the services of this transport, which had sunk into the summer. Every evening I ran to the railway station, to meet my father, who was arriving from work in the village, in a lone wagon, which was carried by the tiny Cuckoo train.

When I saw the mock-ups created by the author from paper, I involuntarily indulged in my childhood memories and, being very delighted with what I saw, decided to write this article. The author himself calls his layouts a simple word - crafts.

You can argue a lot for a long time, the layout is, or model, or crafts, but only one thing is clear to me - this is a work of art! Not only that, I would call it jewelry art! In short, watch and judge for yourself!

I will start with the final “chord” that completed the creation of this masterpiece. The author of this layout said about this event like this:

Model narrow-gauge tank engine Tyn 6 3636

And these are the final photos themselves.

Looking at these photographs, the question involuntarily arises, but does the author play us? Maybe the model is still made of metal? But delving into the process of creating this model, you realize that “miracles” can be made of paper
Here are the words of the author on this issue.

Let's go along with you through the various stages of the construction of this train. I do not know many terms and names of the details of the engine, but I will try to clearly comment on the photos. However, admire yourself!
I start from the very beginning.
The author "sculpts" the engine.

Trying trolleys "runners".

And here are the "runners."

Runners try on a place.

Steam train assembly.

Wheels are being made.

Workpiece blanks

Steam engines.

Detailing of steam engines.

Fitting

The body of the heat box.

Boiler and water tank.

Steam pipe.

The sleepers of the future railway bed are made.

Fine detail

Drawbars are being made.

Start painting parts.

Wheels

The engine rises to the wheels.

Trying on the platform.

Installation of an electric generator.

Railway cloth

Painting of individual elements of the model continues.

Installation work.

Installation of small parts on the boiler continues.

Small parts.

Pasting instruments and levers in the cab.
Work on gluing the driver’s cab.

Pasted the last details.

On this titanic, jewelry work of the author to create a layout of a steam locomotive ended.
We wish the author success in creating the following models.

That’s all for me.
Bye. Yours, Valerian master.

Personally, I know the design of steam locomotives and I liked it .......
But in fact, what is the name of the grandfather - Valeryyang or Valerieen? You yourself would have decided to start, before making claims against others. ((
I apologize, Valerian Arsentievich, for the mistake with the name, I really was not on purpose, and, ironically, I was afraid to make a mistake in patronymic. Sorry, I’m sorry too, I’ve underestimated your “achievement” by a hundred, counted from one to a hundred, and now I started one again. But it justifies me that I was outraged by the publication, which had to be characterized with one capacious word "HALTURA", and I really set off into demagogy.

"Veniamin Arsentievich, you are here sincerely for idiots who do not know how to use the Internet, you think," ...
Dear Khatul Madan, next time try not to confuse the name of my grandfather - Valeryan Arsentievich Master! By the way, you think badly! I have uploaded 443 photos to the article on the engine!
And the number of photos does not mean that you will be paid for them! Because the rules say: - “we pay a maximum of 550 rubles. for the author’s homemade product and 350 for the article from other sites. ”

Yes, you are my friend demagogue ... Your "little bees" published my articles without any alteration and no one's conscience faltered! The topic is closed!
I do not suffer from envy at all (the toad does not strangle), but my sense of justice is a bit aggravated. On this site there is a group of "Journalists" describing other people's homemade products. So, I apologize for the pathos comparison, as the bees process nectar into honey, which eventually becomes smaller in volume, so they process the material from other sites condensing it and then describe someone else’s product, most likely mentally losing the entire manufacturing process. They do a certain job, understand what they are writing about and can answer questions about homemade work, so I have no complaints about them. And they also adhere to the promising inscription on the site
Latest homemade DIY instructions
and not just copy photos where you broke all records. And on account
articles are paid, otherwise why would people spend their time on this business !?
I have another "selfish" interest, although I do not deny the pleasures of monetary reward. I’m more interested in the opinion of absolutely strangers about my crafts, because I consider the opinion of friends to be biased, and the desire to show what and how I can do it.
I want to add a little to the issue of modeling propaganda. Most recently, an author's article about a train made of corrugated cardboard was published here, and so, with all my rejection of this material, this toy promotes modeling more than an excellent model of the highest quality. The reason is very simple - after looking and reading about a simple toy a person will say “I can do it”, and this can serve as the beginning of a “disease” with modelism, and when he sees a super model and how many details are in it, it will decide “I won’t do such a thing” , look, love, but is unlikely to do.

Try to convince me that you are driven by a non-mercantile desire to "cut money"

I will not convince you, because you are right and calm down! Zist - sin! On this site, many publish their articles about homemade products and their own and others (and mine too), precisely because these articles are paid, otherwise why would people waste their time on this thing !?
Are you here sincerely for the idiots who do not know how to use the Internet, do you think, or have you decided to hide behind pathos with phrases that promote amateur art? I’ll tell you a secret that there are still a lot of masterfully executed models, and not only steam locomotives. And to promote such a lot of photographs, for the most part incomprehensible and unexplained, is at least stupid, that you will not interest anyone. By the way,
I didn’t put all the photos in the article, there are a lot more of them, see the source!
I looked at your "source", thanks, laughed. How can I describe something from photos in Odnoklassniki? If you really liked the model so much that you really wanted to tell (propagate) about it, then you had to not be too lazy and study the topic in more detail, and not just download photos from the social network, while making excuses
I do not know many terms and names of the details of the engine, but I will try to clearly comment on the photos.
(You do not understand, or rather did not comment at all on where the conclusion came from, do not know the topic, do not handle). And if it weren’t for your laziness, and if you are really interested in bench modeling, you would have found this model on the site, it tells in full detail on the 27 (twenty seven) pages of the forum how, from what and what it made his model, then would not complain
It is a pity that the author did not show the manufacturing process of small parts
And the photographs there are completely different, and the description of the process is there, and the terms are naturally appropriate. So you could only "tear" the description, replacing "I" with "author", and there would be no complaints about the comments. So your "propaganda" looks more like boasting about the size of the neighbor's "dignity" with a little of your own. So when you yourself do something similar, I will first take off my hat to you, and then publish at least a thousand photos. And yes, you didn’t violate the site’s rules, but there is such a thing as “conscience”, and for example, I would be ashamed to publish other people's photos in such numbers, dimly understanding what is shown there. Try to convince me that what motivates you is not the mercantile desire to "cut the bucks", but the "propaganda of modelism," explain to me three hundred photographs from different angles of unpainted and unexplained details, when the first forty general forms are enough for "propaganda"?
And about your homemade products, I don’t have a desire to discuss them, you are right, they are not interesting to me and I don’t read them after the first two articles (by the way, take a look at the statistics of views).
Author
I will answer you like that. My goal is always the same when I publish a statue - to promote amateur art! I did not violate the rules of this site and the administrator considered correctly that this article could be published! If this does not suit you - do not read, do not look! And moreover no one forces you to admire! I am very sorry for your time spent counting the photos in this article. By the way, I did not insert all the photos in the article, there are a lot more of them, see the source! Personally, I am delighted with this model, and with every detail made by the hand of a jeweler! It is a pity that the author did not show the process of manufacturing small parts, or a video! The author has been making this model for more than one year! And his work should be appreciated! Honor and praise be to him!
And about YOUR models, there are a lot of articles about my personal home-made products! I have more than 100 aircraft models and I just need time to write about each! Still to come!
Yes, since there is especially nothing to read there, and the photos were rippling in my eyes, I decided to count how many of them there really were. In my "demobilization album" for 2 years there were fewer photos.
Already as many as 343 (three hundred and forty-three) !!! Photo

did you really count everything? Uhh .. xaxa
Dear Valerian Arsentyevich, I wonder what purpose you pursued when publishing this material? Already as many as 343 (three hundred and forty-three) !!! photos of which 45 (forty-five)! general view, with very rare, meaningless comments! You wanted to show what can be made of paper? a dozen photos are enough for this, and in general for those interested there is a websiteMy webpage, where you can find patterns of almost any model from paper, from the simplest to the most complex.
Or maybe you have a purely mercantile interest to earn some money on the site? And what, for a ruble for a photograph, it turns out more than for some copyright ones, and the main thing is that you don’t need to describe anything (because you don’t know how what part was done), you can unsubscribe with general phrases “fine detail”. I’m far from the idea that you just want to boast of a foreign model, I’m generally opposed to the description of other people's home-made products and I consider it plagiarism, for the most part I don’t even read such articles (with rare exceptions, when something is interesting even in the title). In your article, I was interested in what can be described in one article about a bench model that has more than a thousand, or maybe not one, small parts? Seeing a bunch of photos with lengthy explanations, I got the feeling that I was mistaken for an idiot, simply obliged to admire the set of details of the model.
Of course, any model can be called "Homemade" (let someone who proves the factory origin throw a stone at me), but if I try to write an article like "How I did the Mercury brig (2 years)", with a very brief description of the manufacture of parts, I’m afraid there’s not enough space here, but readers have the patience to read it. Probably all the same, write such articles on relevant sites, and preferably of their models so that they can answer questions such as: what glue is the model glued to? how are the "lamb" made on the valves? what tool did you cut out the fine detail? How did this or that part stick together?
