In this article, Andrey, the author of the Stroykhak YouTube channel, will tell you how to simply protect the sewage system from hair and wool getting into it.
So, Andrei presents his homemade product that will help you prevent hair from entering the sewers. Yes, the very ubiquitous hair that somehow penetrates your drain pipes and gives you a lot of problems.
At first they make it difficult to drain the water, and subsequently form behind blockages. The most important thing here is not to pull the hair out of the sewage system, namely, to prevent it from getting there.
Materials
- Nylon cable ties

- Clerical or carpentry knife.
Manufacturing process.
To do this, you will need nylon cable ties, which you can buy at an electrician's store or on the construction market. The author’s single screed is slightly thicker, 5 mm wide and 250 mm long. And the second is 3.5 wide and 300 mm long. Which one to choose - in principle, does not matter.
Since Andrew did everything for the first time, naturally in the beginning he made mistakes. For example, to form the locking rings, twisted the ties immediately. Although this could be done later.
The next mistake of the author was the use of a hot blade to form hooks on the screed.
Firstly, they turned out to be of poor quality from a hot blade.
And secondly, when heating nylon, it became somehow fragile and fragile and began to break.
The author thought at first that it was necessary to take the screed thicker. But the wide screed also began to break after exposure to a hot blade.
The author was already ready to give up this venture, but then I thought, why do I need a hot knife? Why can't you use a cold knife? At first he made the hooks with an ordinary construction knife.
Then he took a thin special cutter, the so-called knife for craftsmanship.
The resulting screed had many thin hooks, and at the same time did not lose its strength and flexibility. This is exactly what you need.
Next you need a plastic pipe, and of course a masking tape. It fixes the edge of the screed, and winds it on the pipe.
Then he warms the screed with a construction hairdryer, preventing overheating.
As a result, the author got such a Loch Ness monster, or centipede.
In principle, you can use for winding and the usual hairpin, mop, stick.
What the author said at the beginning - after the usual, not hot knife, the screed loosely fastens, forming the necessary stopper. Therefore, it is not necessary to close it from the very beginning. It is only necessary to retreat a few centimeters from the future retaining eyelet, it is not necessary to make a notch on it.
So, the tests and it involves the hair, the undercoat of an ordinary shepherd, and an unusually soft gentle cat's down.
To begin with, the author will put safety fixtures.
As you can see, the couplers do not fall into the sewer, but they spring if you press on them. And at the same time, they are recessed, and therefore do not interfere with the person who uses the bath.
The author loads the prepared materials directly into the water.
And now the moment of truth! Here they are! Traps triggered by catching all the various material.
Next, we clean the traps from the hair, and put it back. And the garbage goes where it belongs to it - in the bin!
I hope you make this homemade much easier life!
