Here is such an interesting rack for spices made by the Master. Now you don’t have to worry that the jars are scattered around all the shelves and drawers, the master always has them at hand.
So, to make such a stand, the master used the following
Tools and materials:
-Two oak saws;
-Pencil;
-Jar for spices;
-Drilling machine;
- Forstner drill;
-Dremel with grinding heads;
-Back paper from 60 to 120;
-Varnish;
-Brush;
-Wood dowel;
-Screws;
- Joiner's glue;
-Super glue;
-Rubber mat;
- The edge of the board is square;
Step One: Holes
Along the perimeter of the slice makes marking using a jar of spices.
A Forstner drill of appropriate diameter drills blind holes.
On one of the cuts, it also removes the middle part.
Step Two: Grinding
Grinds circles. On semicircular ribs, the grinding disc makes bevels of the edges.
Step Three: Varnishing
Then the master paints the parts.
Step Four: Build
The two parts of the stand are interconnected using a wooden dowel. The dowel must have a straight end cut. A fixing hole is drilled in the center of the dowel.
In the centers of the stands, the master also drills holes. Screws the dowel to the bottom stand, then to the top. When connecting the parts of the stand, the master screws were glued with glue.
At the bottom of the stand, the master glues the turntable with superglue. A square wooden base is glued to the circle. The master glued a rubber mat to the base.
Everything is ready, it remains to place jars of spices on the stand.
An interesting product. The only doubt is the method of fastening the rotary mechanism and support on the glue.
