Greetings to fans who like to craft, I propose to consider an interesting design of the lamp, which you have probably not seen yet. This model experimental, since the service life of such a lamp is unknown, and even it is unsafe. But it looks homemade very interesting, in the dark it seems that the candle is burning. The peculiarity of the lamp is that an incandescent lamp without glass is used here as a source, and the filament does not burn out only because it is in a liquid that is poured into the lamp body. The filament heats the liquid, and it begins to boil, when boiling, the filament heats up and begins to glow. What kind of liquid the author used remains a mystery, but most likely it is something alcoholic. If the homemade product interested you, I suggest studying it in more detail!

Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Bulb making
First we’ll make a flask in which the liquid will be. We have glass, the author used a fluorescent lamp for this. We mark the places of cutting and wrap these parts with masking tape. Then you can start cutting, for such purposes, the author used a drill with a cutting disc. You need to cut carefully, without pressing, slowly turning the glass pipe. After some time, the glass should crack along the cutting line. Sharp edges of the glass form, they must be sanded with sandpaper.
Step Two Base manufacture
We make the basis for the lamp, here we need a piece of the bar, drill a blind hole in it, then install a glass pipe. We grind the workpiece well on a belt grinder so that everything looks beautiful and neat.
Step ThreeTop part
We make the upper part for the pipe, it is made in a similar way, only the workpiece is round. Then we drill a hole in the center, the author’s pipe is open, apparently so that the steam comes out.
Step Four Installing the pipe on the base
It is time to install the pipe on the base, for this the author cut off the end with the contacts from it and wrapped the masking tape around the pipe edge. We also prepare for assembly a power supply, a bulb holder and the bulb itself. The glass of the light bulb must be carefully broken so as not to damage the filament of the light bulb, the author does this with pliers.
We drill a hole at the base and start the cable from the power supply, now you can solder the cartridge from the bulb to it. We center the cartridge, and then everything can be glued together. For bonding we use epoxy glue and sawdust. We stir the whole thing, pour it into the hole in the base, and then install the glass flask. We are waiting for the whole thing to dry well. For additional reliability and tightness, the pipe can then be coated with epoxy from the outside.
Step Five Assembly
We proceed to the assembly of homemade products, we cover the wooden parts with varnish or oil. We install the upper part on the pipe, it can be fixed with silicone sealant or other glue. We pour a secret liquid into the lamp, and what is this, the author did not tell us.
Theoretically, water will be suitable for such purposes, but it is better to take distilled water, it will not conduct electric current. Using other substances that do not conduct electric current can be dangerous. The author adds dye to the liquid so that there is a fire effect.
The lamp can be turned on, it looks interesting. Bubbles are formed around the filament due to the high heating temperature, and when there is no liquid near the filament, it warms up and starts to glow brightly, it turns out such a funny flicker.
