Manufacturing process.
So, first of all, the author prepared a wooden block, and marked the contours of the handle.
Then I cut the handle blank.
He worked the edges of the handle with a manual milling cutter and cut it off with an electric jigsaw.
The result is such a comfortable handle.
Then he took a steel bar with a diameter of 10 mm. He fixed it in the chuck of a screwdriver, and processed it with sandpaper.
Then, holding the bar in a vise, and heating it, bent it into a U-shape.
I attached the workpiece to the bottom of the handle with a self-tapping screw, and prepared the first version of the future slingshot.
From three toothbrushes cut off the head with bristles.
From a steel pipe with a diameter of 32 mm, I made such a billet from a shock absorber, drilled three symmetrical holes in it.
Then he fixed the brushes inside the ring with self-tapping screws.
I drilled holes in the upper parts of the shoulders, and cut into them an M6 thread.
He bent the workpiece from another bar to stop.
Reinforced the upper part of the frame, screwed the rollers with screws.
Then he painted the frame, while protecting the handle from the paint with masking tape.
The next moment is the impregnation of the oak handle with linseed oil.
Now the final assembly of the main part of the slingshot.
Made of steel plate clamp for stop. Set it in place, fixed it with self-tapping screws.
The following is the manufacture of rods from a silicone hose.
And so the main knot is tied.
Cuts traction to the required length.
Threads the ends of the rods through the bored M10 nuts, which are welded to the front fork.
It remains only to put a wide ribbon on the edges of the stop, and the slingshot is ready!
This is how it unfolds; it sits very comfortably in the hand.
For ease of shooting, the master made such a trigger ring, it is put on a finger.
Shooting from a distance of 10 meters - all arrows hit the target!
Now 15 meters. And again, everything is fine. The author admits that the arrows stuck very well; it is not so easy to pull them out.

He wound a little insulating tape onto the boom-lock cable. It is advisable to do this with a heat shrink tube before tying a loop. And you can get arrows on this one.
