Key for polypropylene joints

Hello everyone !!!! Today in this thread we will talk about how to tighten polypropylene fittings.

Nowadays, you can make your life easier in everything, the main thing is that there are funds. Previously, any water supply system was from an iron pipe made of iron and bronze fittings, these materials eventually outlived their own, and not everyone could install them by themselves. Now, of any design, of any complexity, any person can mount it without any problems.

On sale there is any fitting of any size, and the installation is only stuck twisted. To tighten the connections, use a special key or, at the worst end, a gas key. Today we will make a very easy and simple key for any diameter of the fitting, which should be located at anyone who is somehow connected with polypropylene fittings.

And so we need a piece of reinforcement 30cm and a piece of any chain can even be bicycle, as well as welding and a small bolt that will pass through the chain links.

And a motorcycle chain 50cm

That's all we need for useful homemade.

And so we put a 5cm chain on the edge of the reinforcement and weld thoroughly along the edges, now we bend the chain at an angle, bending around the end of the reinforcement and also weld

Now, backing 10cm, we weld the cap of the bolt to the reinforcement parallel to the chain

That's all, our key is ready, it took me about ten minutes to make. The key to business

With this wrench, you can twist or unscrew any connection of polypropylene, and any size

I understand that you can buy branded, but why spend money if you can do it yourself.

Thank you all and to the new DIY

then a couple of times no one will do this

But I do not agree with this ... To do this - literally, in the literal sense, takes about ten minutes with all the preparations ... So, if, all of a sudden, there is just no key at hand and the nut does not loosen, it’s quite possible bungle ....
(I’m talking about “not unscrewing.” Because if you need to tighten it, then the key will be at hand. After all, if you are going to mount something, then you definitely took tools with you ...
He mounted a lot of polyethylene pipes (They are convenient, for example, for street water supply and watering. First of all, they are not afraid of freezing). Always tightened his hands. In places where you can’t grab it comfortably with a brush, I reached for it with the usual permisable key-pliers.

Bullshit. A man who knows his job and so, without this "homemade" will do something that will facilitate his work. And if work with polyethylene happens (and not with POLYPROPYLENE), then nobody will do this a couple of times. My opinion on this publication === who posted this for a smarter is not capable

Something tells me that the photo shows polyethylene pipes, not polypropylene pipes.
