Drill machine from drill, simple implementation


Hello everyone, today we’ll talk about such a machine as a drilling one, it happens very often that you need to drill something in the farm, you can take a drill and drill so easily, but not all are sleeveless. It happens that I sometimes crookedly drill, and everything is spoiled. On a drilling machine, this task is obtained in no way faster and more even as hands. And what to do if there is no such machine, there is only one way out - to make.

Like all my homemade products, I will do this from the remnants of metal. Do not judge strictly for the beauty of the performance, the most important thing for me is that the homemade work, and not be a beautiful dummy, and the process of painting the grinding itself is not particularly interesting.

And so we need: two pieces of channel 40cm each, square 30x30mm, three pieces of reinforcement 20cm each, a bolt with a thicker nut and any thin cable with clamps, I have a polyethylene sheath, cross section 1.5mm.

As well as a tool: welding, drill, grinder.

And so we proceed: I take the channel and weld to each other - this is our bed, stable and heavy

Forgive me for welding until I'm a great welder.

For the rack, I took a 30x30 square, I have it galvanized, preferably another piece of a 15cm square is a bit larger so that he dresses on it, but I don’t have it, I'll make it out of this.

And so I cut a 15cm square, cut two angles in parallel, put it on a square, find two fists of metal, and weld to the corners like a bandage, the main thing is to do it carefully and let the metal cool down.

Now I put a square under the level and thoroughly weld in the middle of the area, departing from the edge of 2 cm.

Now proceed to the pens.

I clamp the nut from the bolt in a vice and weld the fittings on the verge.

Now I make ears from a suitable metal with a hole for a bolt, I weld into a segment of a square. I let it cool myself, otherwise if it cools quickly, it can be distorted.

I insert the bolt into the ears and wind the handle, drip with welding so that it does not scroll

I try on my place, everything goes easily, smeared with a grease for a photo, inserted a match so that it does not fall to the bottom.

Now I proceed to the drill holder, take a 30cm square and a suitable clamp that fits on the drill body, weld a clamp to the square, now I weld to the stand

Well, that's it in its place, trying on a drill.

Now I clean everything with a brush for metal and cover it with a primer.

Now I’m starting the lifting mechanism, I saw a lot of designs on the Internet and basically the most common scheme is this, as I did, with a cable. The best quality option is when a gear is placed on the shaft, and a double chain is placed in place of the cable.Well, I went along the easiest way, we take two hooks and weld one from the bottom, the second opposite from the top, we put one end of the cable onto the clamp and twisted the second turn onto the shaft, pulling it tightly we fasten to the upper hook. Everything, the mechanism is ready.

Today we have assembled another homemade product that simplifies our life. The mechanism is very easy to handle, and it was not difficult to assemble, the other day my friend was working on this machine, a partner who breaks everything because of an excess of forces, so the machine is alive, by the way now he lives with my friend in the garage - Begged, I have to do one more such to be at work.
