Hello fishermen, spring has come - the opening of the fishing season is in full swing. Many of you pulled your fishing rods from the store. Probably each of you has fly fishing rods that do not have a reel.

Tools and materials
- A piece of sewer pipe 50 mm
- Bulgarian
- Blowtorch or building hair dryer
- Two boards
- File
- Emery paper of different grit

Let's get started, take a piece of sewer pipe 50 mm long with a length of about 25 - 30 cm.
We saw the sewer pipe along, with a saw on a tree or grinder.
To turn a pipe into a flat sheet, you need to heat it. We heat our pipe with a gas torch or a building hair dryer, you need to heat it carefully so as not to melt the workpiece.
The next step is to straighten the workpiece. We take and squeeze it between two boards and wait about thirty seconds, so that the workpiece has time to cool.
Next, draw a template on the resulting plastic sheet. The sizes can vary, because - each of you has different fishing rod sizes.
We cut the workpiece according to the template using a grinder. The blank can be cut with a knife, but a grinder is easier.
We also cut the corners with a grinder.
We also cut the inside of the workpiece with a grinder or cut it with a metal saw.
The next step is to heat the workpiece with a gas torch or a construction hairdryer and wrap it around a pipe that is slightly smaller in diameter than the diameter of the rod.
As you can see in the picture, the reel is sitting tightly on a fishing rod. On this reel, you can easily wind a fishing line of different thicknesses. The reel can be sanded with sandpaper.
