How to make a mini bor car

Hello the inhabitants of our site! Today I want to show how I made a mini boron car from a motor. Pretty needed homework in the household.


1) Motor. You can take any, but I used from a 42V printer.
2) Power supply for the motor.
3) Any tree for a nozzle.
4) Sanding paper
5) Terminal blocks for wires: 3 female connectors and 1 female connector.
6) Any button.

Let's get started. First we need to decide what kind of motor we need. If you want for a quick robots, then you can take, for example, as mine. His momentum is simply frantic, and it is difficult to stop him by force of pressure.

When you have decided on the motor, you need to make a nozzle. At first I cut out a circle, and then I began to grind it slowly on a grinding machine, to the size I needed. After that I made a cut on the side, and glued sanding paper to the glue. You can make a lot of nozzles for different thin sections. papers.

Now we need to somehow attach this nozzle to the engine. I initially had an iron pulley on the engine, and I could not remove it without a puller. I had to grind the edge and then insert.

So, we have assembled the motor, now we need to connect electronics. I had 3 wires coming from the power supply: + - and some more, I still did not understand why it was needed. I put the terminals on these wires and punched them with a hammer. On the power supply we need two terminals, i.e. like mom. ya_dobryi By the way, I forgot to say, be sure to use heat shrink, or electrical tape.

And on the engine, we need 1 connector type mom and type 1 dad. We also attach them.

Now the turn has come to the button, I took from the old microwave. It is designed for high voltage and high current, it is without fixing. You can take any. We attach a button to the clamp, but it seems better to me with electrical tape, because it will be safer and will not slip in my hands during long work.


Now it’s up to small. Connect all the wires, but everything is simple: the button has 2 outputs, take one wire (any) and connect to the button. And on the second button contact we connect any wire from the power supply. Well, we connect the remaining ones with each other.And that’s it!
