Step one. Fuel capacity manufacturing
Let's make a container where we will pour fuel. It is best to use a container that can be closed. The author uses a spray can from under the deodorant, we clean the paint from it with sandpaper or with an iron brush, and then cut it. For cutting, the author has a special device made of wood, in which he clamps the blade from the clerical knife.
At the base you need to drill a hole for the tube.
Step Two A tube
The burner is divided with the fuel capacity by a piece of aluminum tube, along which the fuel flows. The tube is aluminum, this can be found in a television antenna. Inside the tube, at both ends, thread a bolt. To cut the thread, the author uses an iron bolt.
We will also need to make an adapter with which we will connect the tube to the fuel container. We make this adapter from a bolt, the author drills a small diameter hole through it.At the end of the tube, you need to drill a hole, gas will go through it into the burner. We install a wick directly into the tube, which will prevent alcohol from flowing through the burner, and it will also work as an evaporator. A cotton cloth is suitable for the wick, you can not use synthetics, since it will melt. After installing the wick, we fasten the tube to the fuel tank. You may need to make a gasket so that the fuel does not leak.
Step Three Burner
We make a burner, we need a piece of aluminum tube. We drill holes for air in the tube, as well as two more holes along the diameter of the tube through which the fuel is supplied. We install the burner on the tube, and turn off the tube with a bolt. That's all, the homemade product is ready!
To start the device, we need an iron cap from the bottle, pour a little alcohol into it and put the burner in the cap. We also pour alcohol into the fuel tank. We set fire to the alcohol in the lid, now the burner should warm up, and part of the tube will also warm up with it. After some time, the alcohol in the tube will begin to evaporate, and the gas will go to the burner. As a result, we get a rather strong torch. The author of the fuel receives too much, so the flame turns yellow, it should be blue. To solve the problem, it is possible to drill additional holes for air supply or to reduce fuel intake.
